Inspired by Nature in Crayon

This is one of the cards we made at my Stamp Camps this month. I love this Inspired by Nature set from Stampin' Up! and am SO in love with this wide striped ribbon! yummy!

To create this card, we used the Rich Regals Watercolor Wonder Crayons directly to the rubber of the stamps from Inspired by Nature. I used So Saffron, Bravo Burgundy and Always Artichoke and scribbled the crayons onto the flower and grass images. Then I used a fine mist spray bottle (an old Stampin' Mist bottle), held the stamp out away from a little and gave the crayoned stamp a little mist of water. Then stamped it onto Textured Very Vanilla cardstock for the main image. I doodle a double line border with a Chocolate Chip Marker.

For the Faux Thread on the Chocolate Chip Corduroy button I used a thin strip of So Saffron cardstock, attached with a Mini Glue Dot. I wrapped another Chocolate Chip Corduroy button, the large one with the brad legs, around the Chocolate Chip Wide Striped Ribbon for my ribbon wrap. The main image is matted onto a piece of Always Artichoke cardstock and adhered to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.

For the inside of my card, I repeated the steps with the Crayons onto the rubber images and misted with water.

Very pretty card. I love how you put the brad on the ribbon (and yes I love that ribbon too - I would like to own ALL of the ribbon!!). And the little button, putting a strip of paper for the thread - that's crazy cool. Mrussom
