There are lots of fun things on this card - the Satin Ribbon and the glitter from the Shimmer Spray, the Vintage Trinket hanging those Jewelry Punch tags, the Heated Satin Flower, the distressed edges from one of the tools of the Cutter Kit.
I punched Jewelry tags of all my cardstock colors - More Mustard, Pear Pizazz and Riding Hood Red and adhered them together to the back of the 'hello' tag, so they look dangley and don't clump together. Then I strung them onto the tiny safety pin and stuck that through the knot of the ribbon bow.
Can you see the sparkle? No? How about a closer look? Can you see it now?! I used the Champagne Shimmer Paint mixed with some Rubbing Alcohol in a small spray bottle. I sprayed all the layers of the card with this Shimmer Spray. The large sentiment is embossed with Clear Embossing Powder, which gives it a great shine, and it doesn't blur with the spritz of Shimmer Spray. (Hehe - I used a re-purposed spray bottle today. It was formerly the spritzer of my daughter's body mist, so it smelled great in my stamp room after I finished this card!)
Also, here's a closer look at that flower I added. It's a Heated Satin Flower that I made from the smaller circles on the Circles #2 Die for the Big Shot. I made a lot of these red satin flowers, mostly in a larger size, for a quilt block swap that I'm in. I may not use them for the quilt swap after all - it's postponed until after the holidays - but these gorgeous flowers have been calling my name every time I'm in my stamp room! You can read how I made the Heated Satin Flowers in a blog post from last April by clicking on the link. They're so easy and so gorgeous every time!
