Blue CASE - Serene Snowflakes

I saw a card similar to this one over the weekend and I just couldn't get it out of my head, so I stamped it! :) It's such a simple one layer card, but I just love it! The clean White Embossed snowflakes from the Serene Snowflakes stamp set with just a touch of bling from the Rhinestone Jewels in the centers really pops. And it's just a single layer - so easy to mail! This sentiment from Many Merry Messages is a beautiful script and seems to pair perfectly with the delicate snowflake images from Serene Snowflakes.

I am in love with the Marina Mist cardstock - this is one of the colors that Stampin' Up! introduced with the new Idea Book & Catalog last summer. One tool that is vital to creating this clean White Embossed look is the Embossing Buddy. This unassuming little pillow removes the static from the cardstock before you even apply any ink. Then, when you add the Embossing Powder over, it only sticks onto the stamped image. I find the Embossing Buddy indispensable when Heat Embossing on dark cardstock and when using a high contrast, such as the White Embossing Powder here.
