Mojo Monday Sketch - Just Believe

Here is a card I stamped yesterday using the Mojo Monday Sketch 154 and the Stampin' Addicts Color Challenge 64. And of course I had to use my new favorite stamp set from Stampin' Up! Just Believe. I loved this sketch and played with some fabrics using it as well. If I can get that finished I'll post it later this week. The Color Challenge this week was a gorgeous one - Basic Black, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie - love it!

I used the Big Shot Scallop Square Die to create the scallop mat for this card. Then I used the Big Shot Pennant Die for the smaller scallop circle. Several of my favorite Stampin' Up! products are on this card - the Rhinestone Jewels, the Scallop Trim Border Punch, the Satin Ribbon and my current favorite colors - Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie.

I think this card may appear in my September Stamp Camp lineup. Check my Event Calendar for September classes - I'd love to see you here!

Birthday Bakery - Sketch Challenge

Today I stamped with the Stampin' Addicts Sketch Challenge from last Thursday and I used my Big Bold Birthday Sizzlet set that has been sitting sad and neglected on my shelf. Why haven't I used this yet?! It's so fun to play with! I also used the Stampin' Up! hostess set Birthday Bakery - love the sentiments in this Level I Hostess Set!

I die cut the cupcake pieces from Big Bold Birthday with scraps of Lap of Luxury Designer Series Paper. All the edges were sponged and then I adhered my cupcake onto the Pretty in Pink mat with Stampin' Dimensionals. The little corner tag and the sentiment 'if you are what you eat, eat something cute' are both from the Hostess Level I set Birthday Bakery. I really like working from a Sketch to get my cards laid out and finished quickly. Please please please - if you use this little die set - use the Crimper on the cupcake bottom before you adhere it to your card. I will definitely be doing that on my next cupcake!

Fifth Ave Floral - Technique Challenge

stampin up, stampin addicts, technique challenge, fifth ave floral, just believe, criss cross cardToday I did some stamping with the Technique Challenge at Stampin' Addicts and my two favorite floral stamp sets from Stampin' Up! - Just Believe and Fifth Ave Floral. The Technique Challenge at Stampin' Addicts has a Fun Fold card on the fourth Tuesday of each month - this month's challenge was to create a Criss Cross Card.

Here's the pull-out card for the inside of my Criss Cross card - I stamped the flower image from Fifth Ave Floral in Basic Gray ink across the lower corner of the Very Vanilla layer. I sandwiched a tab of Basic Gray Satin Ribbon with Sticky Strip tape between the Very Vanilla liner and the Soft Suede mat.

stampin up,lined envelopeI used a color combination from a beautiful package of Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up! called Elegant Soiree - so gorgeous. I used a piece of the Elegant Soiree DSP to line my Very Vanilla Envelope, too - love that touch! I'll have another trick to dressing up your envelopes later this week, too.

Cardstock: Baja Breeze, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Elegant Soiree (envelope liner)

Serene Snowflakes - Mojo Monday Sketch

stampin up, mojo monday, serene snowflakesHere is the card I stamped this morning for Mojo Monday's Sketch Mojo153. I used the stamp set Serene Snowflakes from Stampin' Up! and my new Northern Frost Decorative Strip from the upcoming Holiday Mini Catalog.

I die cut several of the beautiful snowflakes from this soon-to-be-released Northern Frost Decorative Strip and glued them to the Not Quite Navy mat. Then I layered the glittery embossed snowflakes over. A little VersaMark ink with my Rich Razzleberry and Not Quite Navy pads along with the Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder gave these stamped images some sparkle.

Just Believe - Clear Block Stamping

stampin up, just believe, techniqueThis new stamp set from Stampin' Up! called Just Believe is my new favorite! I love the silhouettes in this set and the sentiments included are just right, too. This card is one we made this month at my Technique Club. The technique is clear block stamping, or Faux Reverse Masking. This month at club we did Masking techniques and this card was my favorite.
