More Birthday Calendar Rolodex's

Here are some pictures of the Birthday Calendar Rolodex's that some friends made at a recent class. I love the look of different color combinations, including this Red/White/Blue Rolodex, the Green/Pink/Black, and the Island tones of the In Colors below. And last, two brocades in Black/White with a pop of Yellow or a pop of Red.

My favorite color combinations change by the week, but right now I've really been drawn to Yellow/Blue combinations. What is your favorite color combinations right now? What pairing makes you sing summer songs?

Brights Designer Series Paper - Thank you Card

More bright HAPPY colors! These two cards are variations of a swap I did several weeks ago and we made this card at a recent Stamp Camp, just before the Poppy Parade cardstock retired! mmmmm - I do miss Poppy Parade, but have to tell you, I'm really falling in love with the new Raspberry Ripple - what a delicious shade of red! Watch for more cards using the NEW In Color!

Here's a closer look at the butterfly THANK YOU element on this card. I stamped the butterfly in Poppy Parade and then overstamped the Thank You sentiment in Jet Black StazOn. I wiped the Embossing Buddy over and then stamped the Netting background stamp over it in VersaMark ink. Finally, I used Clear Embossing Powder to heat emboss this texture.

Did you know that the Embossing Buddy is now available to order - thank goodness! I don't know what I would do without mine! Also, in the new catalog is a Heat Gun with High and Low temps!

Stampin' Up! Firm Foam Pads - New Product!

Introducing firm foam pads from Stampin' Up! They change your stamping experience for the better.
We know you’re going to love these new Stampin’ Pads—just look at all the exciting benefits listed below:
  • Provide better ink coverage for your stamps!
  • Light-tap stamping produces flawless images!
In addition, our new Stampin’ Pads
  • Create wonderfully solid images. The Firm Foam releases more ink onto your rubber stamp than the felt pads. When using the Firm Foam pad, your stamp will get an even, solid covering of ink that you may not have been able to achieve with the felt pads. Please note: if you are using the ink pad frequently you may need to re-ink your Firm Foam pad more often.
  • Have a crisply printed, glossy label on the top of the pad that is easier to read and that will not fade or chip off!
  • Come with color name labels in all four languages (English, Spanish, French, and German)--just choose your language, peel it off the back, and add it to the side of the pad for easy identification!
  • Use the same patented flip-top case design that stores the inking surface upside down, so the pad surface stays moist!
  • Are available in all colors, including our exclusive In Colors!

I'll have these for you to try at my June Events so you can see and experience for yourself the improved quality of our Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Pads.
Please note: Five ink colors have undergone formula changes to improve functionality and color stability with the new firm foam pads. These colors are
  • Basic Black
  • Basic Gray
  • Marina Mist
  • Perfect Plum
  • Tempting Turquoise
All five colors of the reformulated inks have been fully tested and approved. While using the new ink formula in the old Stampin’ Pads is fine, we do not recommend using the old ink formula for these five colors in the new firm foam pads. Any refills purchased after April 30, 2012, will contain the new formulated ink.*
