Scrapbooking with the beautiful new
Strength and Hope stamp set from
Stampin' Up! led me to some spring pages. This page is for the
Stampin' Addicts Scrapbook Theme Challenge this week -
SPRING has Sprung! SCRAP38 Theme Challenge. If you're looking for some great scrapbook challenges be sure to check out the weekly
Sketch,
Product,
Theme Scrapbook Challenges that just started over there. I'll be hosting the
Scrapbook Theme Challenges, at least for a few months, and I'd love to see your pages, too! Just upload them to your blog, online gallery or the Stampin' Addicts gallery (which is free) and then post a link to the Challenge Thread so we can see!
For this page I use a
Pretty In Pink base and

stamped the wildflowers from
Just Believe stamp set in
VersaMark ink across the bottom. I also stamped the wildflowers on the
Baja Breeze cardstock for the title pieces, which are run through my
Big Shot with the
Serif Essentials Bigz Dies and then the
Polka Dot Textured Impressions Folder.

The ruffled ribbon is
Baja Breeze Seam Binding, with a middle thread pulled to ruche and then wrapped around the
Scallop Border edged
So Saffron. The butterflies from
Strength and Hope stamp set are stamped in
So Saffron, Peach Parfait, Baja Breeze and
Regal Rose with a
Rhinestone Jewel for each.
I have lots of scrapbooking to catch up on and sometimes I find I really enjoy playing with pictures from 10 or more years ago. I get nostalgic for when my babies were babies and I find that my journaling comes easier and more heartfelt - less stilted and fact based. Although, what do you see missing from this page??! yep - the journaling!
