For these flamingo cards I sponged the color onto the flamingo image to get a bit of texture, using Blushing Bride and Melon Mambo Classic Inks and a Sponge Dauber. Then I trimmed out the tail and the back of one foot before die cutting it with the Oval Framelit. By trimming in a little bit on the pieces that I want to hang over the edge of die cut, I can slide that part of the image ON TOP of the framelit. Then it is not cut along with the rest of the die cut shape.
