Pink Out - Afterthoughts

Today I stamped some PINK cards in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It makes me happy to see the Pink Outs at NFL and MLB games as well as my son's high school football games. I made this card using several shades of pink cardstock with the Beautiful Wings Embosslit from Stampin' Up! and the Small Heart Punch along with a sentiment from Afterthoughts - a Level I Hostess Set.

The sentiment reads "Lucky You...and lucky me for knowing you." The card base is Pretty in Pink with hearts and butterflies in Pink Pirouette, Pretty in Pink and Regal Rose.  I also used Regal Rose Classic Ink for the little bit of stamping.

This card above is very flat and is an easy one to mail. I also made a stepped up version with a big bow from the Stampin' Up! Pretty in Pink Satin Ribbon and one of the Hat Pins and Beads from our Pretties Kit. (retired) I really love those Hat Pins and that is another retired item that I miss, although I've hoarded enough of them that I'll be able to keep using them for a few years!

{Check out the Clearance Rack! The retired Pretties Kit is on there for only $11.99! Along with some gorgeous ribbons at up to 80% off!)

Later this week I'll show you a gift tag that I helped a friend design to honor her sister who lost a battle with breast cancer this summer. Her sisters came up with a wonderful idea to honor her memory and I was happy to be a part of the final design!
