Color Roundup - Bookmark

Holly's Color Roundup #9 is posted - Early Espresso, Marina Mist, Real Red and Crumb Cake - so I played with those colors this morning on a bookmark card. I used some of the leftover Magnetic Sheets from a chalkboard project my Technique Club did a few months ago. I used the Northern Frost Decorative Strip from Stampin' Up! to die cut these delicate snowflakes from the Very Vanilla Cardstock.

The bookmark is removable from the Vellum Cardstock pocket. I used the leftover strips of Adhesive Magnetic Sheets to cut two squares tucked between the layers of cardstock to be invisible. These Magnetic Sheets still have enough magnetic strength to hold together between a few book pages. To make the bookmark super simple to create, I cut two of the narrow tags from the Two Tags Die and adhered the snowflakes from the Northern Frost Decorative Strip.

What a great card to send, any time of year, but especially now as the weather turns colder and we like to stay indoors with a book, right?! Also, you could include this card with a favorite book for a great hostess gift. And we can all use hostess gifts this time of year, too!

{Inside}
For the inside of the card I just have a piece of embossed Marina Mist cardstock using the Northern Flurry Texture Embossing Folder. Yes, that is three different sandwich combination on the Big Shot for one card, just in case you're counting!
