I'm finishing up some Christmas cards today with the
Special Season stamp set from the
Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog. This set has some of the most beautiful fonts for the sentiments and the decorated Christmas tree image and pine bough are beautiful as well. I haven't used this set as much as I intended to, so I'm planning to remedy that over the weekend! Are you doing some stampin' this weekend? Working on Christmas cards, Christmas gifts or just playing with your papers? Any stamping challenges you're working on?

I stamped the Christmas tree image in
Old Olive ink and then
Heat Embossed it with
Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder for just a light touch of shimmer and shine. The
Early Espresso mat is a piece of the
C'oredinations cardstock, which gives you this lovely two toned appearance when you texture emboss it with the
Big Shot - I used the
Petals A Plenty folder here and gave it a little extra sanding with a
Sanding Block to emphasize the two toned effect. The peppermint striped paper is from the
Season of Style Designer Series Paper, also in the
Holiday Catalog.
