Autumn Sympathy

Sympathy cards , I think, are the most difficult to make. Stampin' Up! does have a couple of sympathy stamp sets, yet I haven't purchased one. I really do need to get at least one of them because I find it hard to know even what words to write and I think the sentiments in those sets would be helpful.

I stamped this card using the Thumping Technique, which just means you 'thump' or color different areas of the stamp with markers. I used More Mustard, Always Artichoke, Really Rust and Chocolate Chip markers to color the wide tree from the Lovely As A Tree stamp set.

The sentiment here is from Teeny Tiny Wishes and is punched out with the Curly Label Punch. The Really Rust designer series paper is from the Hostess Level I Patterns Pack III.

For the inside of this card I used a scripture stamp from Verve. I would love Stampin' Up! to carry some scripture stamps.
