Mojo Monday - Kind & Caring Sympathy

stampin up, sympathy card, hostess set, kind & caring thoughtsThis morning I stamped a sympathy card using the Stampin' Up! Level III Hostess set Kind & Caring Thoughts and the MojoMonday Sketch 125. This is a beautiful stamp set and a great sketch to work with as well. I love lots of layers and this is such a unique sketch I had a lot of fun with it.

I used a couple of markers and a sponge to get some variations in color for my flowers - is this a rose? I also sponged the edges of the larger Whisper White panel and added a little Paper Piercing on the three main pieces. The sentiment is from the same stamp set Kind & Caring Thoughts and I made it into a banner with the My Way (arrows) Punch. The Pretty in Pink Corduroy Button to grace the corner is one of the new items in the Occasions Mini Catalog as is the Pretty in Pink Satin Ribbon.

For the inside of my card I used a stamp set from Verve with a cross image and the sentiment 'We're praying for you.'

WOW, so pretty. The yellow and pink remind me of spring, which I wish would hurry on it's way. I'm ready for the flowers to start blooming.
