Stampin' Up! 1/2 Day Regional Swaps

Last Friday, I attended a 1/2 Day Regional event from Stampin' Up! in Fort Collins. What a fun day with Stampin' Presentations from Shannon West, Pam Morgan and Donna Griffith as well as several amazing demonstrators from Colorado. I couldn't have had more fun - I rode up with fellow demonstrator Donna Goodwin and started the day with the 3D swap ( remember my Birthday Calendar Rolodex) thoroughly enjoyed the organized event by Stampin' Up!, did lots of card swapping, and ended the day with dinner at Red Robin with an exciting and crazy and loads-of-fun group of demonstrators from Cheyenne, Wyoming - a group with France Martin.

In this 1/2 day event, we got to hear so many ideas and lots of product information, as well as received a stamp set, Vintage Vogue. Of course we had several Make N Takes projects - a girl has got to get her stamp on! Each demonstrator who attended Regionals can also earn a FREE stamp set that will be released this summer - such fun! Stampin' Up! is an amazing company and I love the opportunities that it provides, as well as all the training and ideas, not to mention the discount I receive on my product and the FREE rubber I can earn. What's not to love?!

stampin upHere are a couple of the 3D swaps I received in exchange for my Birthday Rolodex - aren't they amazing? It's been so fun to look them over in detail and I can't wait to share the ideas with my customers.

This first Desk Set was created by Wanda Bingaman and not surprisingly she won the Best of Swap, voted by those of us who participated in this swap. She used the Thoroughly Modern Designers Series Paper and File Folder to create a note pad folder, a notepaper set, a coordinating tin and the easel calendar.

stampin upThese amazing Coasters were created by Peg Edwards. She included the recipe for this set printed inside the Tag, die cut from the Big Shot Two Tag Bigz Die. This stamp set is called Garden From the Heart and is in the current Occasions Mini Catalog.

stampin upFrance Martin, who organized the swap and is the upline of several of the ladies in it, created this stunning Photo Wallet. She has more detailed photos of it on her blog - and dimensions. I love the Shimmer Paint touches that she included throughout. This Photo Wallet uses the Vintage Vogue stamp set in the Occasions Mini Catalog and is also the set that we received at Regionals.

stampin upTerri Brantz created this gorgeous Fabric Flower that is tied to a tin filled with wrapped chocolates. This uses the Fold Up Flowers XL Die for the Big Shot. Terri created several different quilted flowers and all of them were gorgeous like this - amazing colors and finished detail.

More of my swaps tomorrow!
